A Collection of Roles for Good Society
By HB, RuntY, LadyKaella, and Avalon Divine

Credits:

  • This work is based on Good Society (found at storybrewersroleplaying.com/good-society/) a product of Storybrewers Roleplaying, developed and authored by Hayley Gordon and Vee Hendro.
  • These Custom Roles were based upon Characters being played by the Cast of Authors in their game together of “Emma, Forget Me Not”, otherwise known as the Eldredges. In tandem with that, Woolf Society: Percival was used for extra tragedy, while lyrics from Taylor Swift songs were used for flair. The base formatting for each role is thanks to Avalon, who wrote and published the first of the roles, “The Widow”.
  • The Instrument, by HB, is based on Kitty Eldredge, the eldest daughter of the family.  The Instrument is a variant of the Heir that focuses less on inheritance and more on being promised to someone in a familial deal, with the primary reputation stakes of the role tied into whether they can perform the requisite motions their role requires.
  • The Pillar, by RuntY, was based on the only brother in the family, Julian. It is intended as a variation of The Cornerstone (Good Society Base) with nuances of The Hedonist (Good Society Base) and influences from The Brat by Small Stories and The Impostor by Small Stories.
  • The Tragedy, by LadyKaella, was based on the orphaned cousin Sophia. Credits to Steph Novak for helping with the “A Heart Full of Spite” condition, and MightyyShrimp for inspiring the advice section.
  • The Widow, by Avalon, was based on Imogen, the youngest daughter, and was inspired by her fellow players at the table. You know who you are, you wonderfully sad people, you. (A sentiment shared back to her, with love.)
